More little signs of Spring

Can you see the picnic tables on either side of the clump of trees in the middle?  The tide is certainly high.  This is the Murray below Lock 10.  Interestingly, Phillip Adams was talking with Simon Winchester, one of my favourite authors, the other day and they mentioned the huge numbers of containers floating around the world's oceans just below the surface - something of a shipping hazard.  Beware in your boat on river and sea.
On dry land this is the most exciting time of the year for me.
All these stirrings of new life.
Not to mention fruit and wine to come...

  1. Oh how lovely, I love it when you see those first signs of spring. Here we are enjoying the first tentative signs of autumn- having to put long sleeves on in the morning is one of my favourites.
