Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness

I have always loved Autumn.  We haven't  had any mists so far.  I was driving to Mildura on Saturday for a delicious Turkish community lunch - lots of pomegranate seeds sprinkled like jewels - when I saw this row of pumpkins on the sultana drying racks and remembered that it was this sight which, years ago, made me want to have a blog.  It took a long time to happen.  Now here I am with more blogs than you can poke a stick at and struggling to keep up with them.  But that's life - feast or famine.
I will be abandoning this blog for a while while (!) I'm in Wales and England.  Hopefully I'll be able to access BlogBlodwyn over there and post to it.  I'm hoping to post more photos on the Our House blog to show O/S rellies and friends.  That's the plan...
Oh, and I'm posting this photo from a cuppla weeks back.  Wentworth has 2 of these seats.  I think the one in the main street looks ridiculous - far too large for the human scale of the street.  But this one faces towards the river and I have always loved the avenue of jacaranda trees in which it has been placed.  It is just outside another Wentworth Gallery, Artback, where I bought your Russian doll brooches Bronny, Heths, Helly Bells and CK Beagle.
The fish is a Murray Cod.
Talking of things piscatorial takes me back to our Easter Trip on Kangaroo Island.  Here am I with the aforesaid CK Beagle.
We really shouldn't be let out...  Keep the photos coming, Bron.

  1. Love the photo of you being a meerkat? Reminds me of a young Remi. And the pomegranates sound divine.
