Full on

Another madly social weekend.  I've had more visits in nearly a year in Triabunna than in all my time in Wentworth.  Very hurried today to get everything organised for work this week and Easter and a bit longer in Adelaide.  It was the Sea Fest this weekend.  The photos will have to do most of the talking.
Old news - the birdbath and rhubarb crop.
Up reasonably bright and early to catch the opening of the extended boat ramp and marina in Tribes.
Zaki the Shepherd and a few other locals were out and about to see our local member officiate

which included being rowed over to new boat ramp.  The ramp's popularity was proved by The Member's Longboat being crowded out by jetskis and a small motorcraft.
Those who attended A Wedding in Wentworth may recall a similar event.
There was all the fun of the fair and then some.
Liz and I felt like refreshment so took a cruise around Spring Bay.

We got very close to the contentious wharf at the Spring Bay Mill

Then home to Tribes with our taste for the sea sated.
We met up with Oki and Sarah and shot off to the exhibition at the Spring Bay Mill.
It was my third visit and I was welcomed like an old friend (I'm lying.  This photo is actually one of the volunteer ushers posing for Sarah.)
An arty photo by Sarah.

More gratuitous Spring Bay Mill shots.

Sunday it was back to the Sea Fest for the fishing competition weigh in.
Sarah took to rowing.

while I landlubbered.
Then Oki and Sarah took to rowing.

It was all very exhausting.  And the most amazing cheap fun.  Other excitement including a seal swimming around our cruise boat and the sighting of a seahorse on the chain anchoring the wooden boats.
