Life has been very rich indeed in Tribes. There was a cornucopia of fruit and veg coming our way from local gardens.
So good has been the season that Wilma and Rob next door have started their own street stall. You may notice we had a Greens sign on our gate for our recent election. It didn't help the Greens much but I was impressed that no harm befell us or the posters.
I am still intrigued at the ambiguity of this one.
I went to extraordinary lengths planning my look for a cocktail party but then was ill on the day.
And just as I'm preparing for my Easter Road Trip this little beauty alights next door, complete with cocoon.
I may not get to blog again before I leave on Saturday so HAPPY and BOUNTIFUL EASTER TO YOU ALL!

why I blog
Not just because Mrs Omniscient Henry, The Queen of Hearts and I went for a lovely walk yesterday,
nor because you may like to know what's happening in the school garden (Jill PD was enthralled by the dynamic lifter),
not even because the postponed hunt for sea lavender is on today, BUT so that I can remember the books I've read. Chatting to some tourists who were en route to Port Arthur, I told them of the theory that convicts to Van Diemens Land had it much better than their NSW counterparts until George Arthur arrived. Could I remember the name of the book, or the writer? No sirree. But I could come home and find it on the 5/1/18 post. Doesn't help the tourists much but I am much relieved. I also needed relief after
Steve's latest foray into portraiture. And I always thought my Mum looked like the queen!
His self-portrait isn't quite as disturbing.

goody gumdrops
It arrived and I read it. Today I started Howard's End because I think it's on telly this weekend and I want to have a picture in my head before I see the film version. It's the last of the 5 books in my E M Forster compendium, that is I left it to last to read cos I found the title disconcerting. Turns out to be about 2 sisters called Margaret and Helen.
