Poor quality phone photos but if you look carefully you'll see lots of pelicans.
I keep meaning to photo them in the morning on my way to work - and Friday I did.

They were back Friday night when I got home from work.  And a full moon too.

Last Thursday Latrobe Uni bestowed a Bachelor of Visual Arts upon The Incredibly Strong Steve Mars.
The inside photos are very blurred because the photographer does not have a visual arts qualification.  They do have a pleasantly Harry Potter resonance.
It was good fun with good food and all worth the effort.

Just desserts

We all turn 60  this year.  Three of us have already taken the step to elegance and enlightenment.
Bronwyn had this cake made at the Braidwood establishment which concocts all our birthday, wedding and other celebratory cakes.  She then had to cosset it from Canberra to Adelaide to Coffin Bay.
Design concept:  Gilles Plains High School Prefects' Blazer (which we all wore at some time - we were poor and had to share...)
