H is for Have Mum, will travel

I've booked the ferry for 22 November, returning Friday 13th!!!!! December.  So lookout.

Here's a bit more gardening news from last weekend.

crude straw nests around the strawberries
the straw is actually rocket stems, so that may help perpetuate the salad lead patch

I've got a cunning plan for the basket I started to weave.  It required soaking in the bath - a terrifying sight for the unexpecting and arachnophobic.

very excited about the possibility of irises along the front wall

tamarisk nearly out

gratuitous looking out the laundry window shot

just to show it's not all beer and skittles in Tribes - local bikies at the cafe

proof that life is returning to normal - I'm back to reading

came home from an afternoon of 'extra duties' at council to find Judy H had brought round these beautiful bluebells - harebells, perhaps?

In other H news:
Hallelujah it's raining.
Happily eating the rhubarb I picked the other day - microwaved with honey.
Honey pot needs replenishing - visit to Honey Lady required.
H A P P Y   T R A V E L S  to those of you setting out soonish.
