I'm not a fan of Christmas in July but I must say the tree did look spectacular. And oh - that hint of spring with those lovely flowers. Divine. (As an aside, amazingly, my ornamental grapevine turned red for a week back in autumn then all the leaves fell off, and then, quite suddenly, all during winter, tiny new green growth started to appear and there are now lots of large green leaves - which I thought should be appearing in spring.) FF
